Musango Safari Camp
is located in the Matusadona area of northern Zimbabwe.

In a beautiful position on a private island in Lake Kariba, this relatively simple lodge is personally hosted and guided by Steve Edwards, who is something of a local legend and certainly one of the best guides in the country. The main activities are motorboat safari and fishing, with additional opportunities for walking safari, village visits, fossil hunting and vehicle safari. It is open year round and has no minimum child age.

The main potential downsides are the fact that this lake area is not a truly natural environment, the lodge is rather simple and old-fashioned, vehicle safaris and walking safaris are relatively weak in terms of wildlife numbers, Steve's presence cannot be guaranteed and temperatures can be extremely high Oct/Nov.
