Mvuu Camp
is situated on the east bank of the Shire River inside Liwonde National Park in southern Malawi.

This camp is the larger and simpler option within the reserve, with 12 guest tents and an extensive camp-ground. It tends to cater most to mainly to South African self-drivers.

The motorboat safari here is exceptional, often providing really high quality with elephants, hippos and crocodiles in particular. Other activities include vehicle safari, walking safari and visits to the local villages either on foot or by mountain bike.

The main downside is that , although Liwonde is Malawi's leading wildlife reserve, there is a distinct shortage of predators, the chances of seeing lions or cheetahs in particular are very low.
