Ndarakwai Camp
is located in the West Kilimanjaro area of Northeast Tanzania.

This comfortable permanent tented lodge is set on a private ranch to the south of West Kilimanjaro, a remote and little-visited safari area most famous for its views over Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a very pleasant camp, with fifteen guest tents and relatively well priced. A broad range of activities include vehicle safari, walking safari, a waterhole hide, night vehicle safari, treks onto the Shira Plateau, visits to Arusha National Park and cultural interaction with local Maasai people.

The main potential downsides are that this area is too peripheral for most people, has has quite low wildlife densities, especially during the dry season and some parts are mixed use with domestic stock and Maasai villages. This particular camp is quite close to farmland, so does not feel that wild and does not offer as impressive views of Kilimanjaro as those camps further north.
