Ndomo Point House
is situated on the southwestern tip of Likoma Island in the Lake Malawi area of Malawi
Set on rocks above a beautiful beach, this house in an annexe of the nearby Kaya Mawa Lodge
and is ideal for family groups looking for complete privacy.
The house comprises of a kitchen and dining room, media room, three large terraces, courtyard, outside dining and barbecue area, swimming pool and a secluded beach. There are four bedrooms, all of which offer uninterrupted views of the lake. The house comes with a full complement of staff including a nanny, cook, housekeeper, ground staff and a watchman.
Activities include freshwater diving, snorkelling and sailing. Best of all we find is the interaction that guests are able to have with this wonderful island community, who derive considerable benefits from the presence of the lodge. Exploring the island by bike and on foot is a real pleasure.
The main potential downsides is that the lodge is relatively expensive, especially the access which is by shared charter flight from Lilongwe. By comparison with the beach lodges of the Indian Ocean, the main disadvantage is the lack of diving.SeasonsPricesTrips
