Ndutu Wilderness Camp
is located in the Southwest Sector
of the Serengeti
in Northern Tanzania
Situated in one of the private campsites in the area around Lake Ndutu, this camp operates December to March, when the migration should be within range and in calf.
The camp itself is medium specification, with a modest tented mess area and several smaller than usual guest tents with private bathrooms. It does not generally offer safari services, the majority of guests pass through with their own private driver-guide and vehicle.
Activities are centred on vehicle safari during daylight hours only. It may also be possible to do some limited walking in the local area.
Ndutu Wilderness Camp may not have the polish of other ostensibly similar mobile camps in this area, but it is considerably lower cost than most and therefore represents a decent alternative for guests who are not too hung up on elevated levels of service.
The usual stay duration is 2 to 4 nights.
