Nomad Masek Camp
also known as Nomad Serengeti Safari Camp
, is located in the Southwest Sector
of the Serengeti
in Northern Tanzania
It is a high specification mobile tented option set in the important Ndutu area and is open start December to end March, when the main migration is often in the area. It is a very pleasant camp, with six guest tents, elegantly presented, genially hosted and expertly guided.
Activities are centred on daytime vehicle safari, with off-road driving permitted. Some limited walking safari may also be possible.
The main potential downsides at Nomad Masek Camp that it is relatively highly priced, facilities are relatively simple for a camp of this stature, activities are effectively limited to daytime vehicle safari only and fly-in guests are often asked to share vehicles whilst out on safari. There is also the potential for very high visitor traffic and adverse weather conditions during the main migration season.UpsidesDownsidesSeasonsPricesTrips
