Odzala 7N
is a seven night fixed itinerary group safari to the Odzala Kokoua area, starting and ending in the town of Brazzaville in the Congo.

Historically we have never been great fans of set departure group safaris, but this safari is very different, being the only way to sensibly access northern Congo, an area which is extremely remote and little-visited.

It includes nights at each of three very high quality camps, the first of which is quite simply the best location in Africa for lowland gorillas. All camps feature great guiding and are part of an extremely important conservation project.

End : Brazzaville

The safari starts in the town of Brazzaville in the Congo, where you need to be either staying in Brazzaville the previous night or arrive by air before 12.30hrs. From there we fly by shared charter for around an hour north to land at a remote airstrip in the park, from where it is about an hour and a half by road to Ngaga Camp. After three nights we drive for around three hours to Mboko Camp for four nights in the riverine and savanna areas over on that side. On the seventh day we drive about an hour and a half back to the airstrip for the return flight to Brazzaville, either to overnight in the town or connect to flights departing from 13.00hrs.

The trip operates year round, usually starting on Thursdays and Sundays, but reducing down to Thursdays only during low seasons. It is operated for a maximum of 12 guests.
