Pelican Point Lodge
is located in the town of Walvis Bay in the Western region of Namibia.

Set on a remote and exposed sandbar on the outer edge of Walvis Bay, this unique, quirky and upmarket lodge is contained within historic lighthouse buildings. An unusual range of activities includes, walking, kayaking and motorboat excursions to experience the rich wildlife of the area including a huge sea-lion colony, jackals, flamingos, pelicans, whales, dolphins and sharks, as well as various other activities slightly further afield.

The main potential downsides are that the lodge is relatively expensive, is very exposed to the potentially strong winds and heavy fogs for which the area is known and that the industrial backdrop may be a turn off for some people.
