The main reason that we first started our company was to try to do something positive for Africa.

Although in other parts of the world tourism is often viewed as having a negative and even corrosive effect, here in Africa environmental tourism is a great source for good, the primary engine behind conservation and the greatest source of revenue for many poor sub-Saharan countries.

Our primary mission is to support the continued development of high quality and environmentally sensitive tourism by providing a platform by which visitors can make informed decisions on how and where to travel.

In doing this we operate our business along sound ethical principles. We are not involved with corruption, bribery or sharp tax avoidance practises.

Since our formation in 1999 we have paid over US$14M in park and conservation fees on behalf of our guests.

Since 2011 we have undertaken to contribute a minimum of 10% of our profits to charitable ventures. In this section we shall soon be announcing the
to which we will be providing funds.
