Rhino Post Lodge
is located in the Kruger South area of Kruger National Park in the Northeast region of South Africa.

Set within a 120 square kilometre private concession within the reserve, this intimate and relatively upmarket lodge has very pleasant central areas with campfire and pool decks raised up above a seasonal sand river. Guest accommodation is in eight very comfortable tented rooms. The hosting is intimate and the pricing relatively keen.

Activities are centred mainly on vehicle safari within the private concession, supplemented with walking safari. Guiding is to a very high standard. The levels of wildlife in the area can vary through the seasons, but is usually strong.

The main potential downsides are the relative simplicity of the accommodation and the potential for adverse weather conditions Nov/Mar. Also, as with almost all the lodges in this area, different groups of guests are joined together on safari activities. We also find that the access along major sealed roads and the presence of the huge Skukuza Restcamp just to the southwest, does detract slightly from the sense of wilderness, but that is true of almost all of Kruger.
