is located in the Livingstone
area of southern Zambia
In a lovely riverside position 20km upstream from the Victoria Falls, this small Victorian style lodge offers traditional accommodation and characterful hosting. An extremely wide range of activities includes visits to the falls themselves, motorboat safaris, white-water rafting and cultural visits, some of which are included in the room rate.
The main potential downsides are the high prices, the fact that this is not a true safari area, that the lodge is a little more outdoorsy than one might expect, that the service levels can be a little variable, that the lodge is quite exposed to rain Nov/Apr and can experience extremely high temperatures in Oct/Nov.UpsidesActivitiesDownsidesSeasonsPricesTrips
