is located in the Grootfontein Triangle
area in the Northeast
region of Namibia
This small lodge is located 55km to the northeast of Grootfontein on the road to Rundu and is therefore aimed at traffic passing along the Caprivi Strip.
It is a simple place, with just 7 rustic chalets and modest public areas including a small pool, but is at the same time reasonably stylish and interesting. It is owned by Wimple and Marietjie Otto, whose ancestors were amongst the first Europeans to settle in the country.
There is always a big debate as to where best to put your night stops when traversing the Caprivi. If you are coming from East Etosha
then you will much more likely push on to Rundu
. But if you are coming from further afield, then Roy's Camp can work particularly well.
