is located in the Okavango Santawani
area of the Okavango Delta
in northern Botswana
At around 270 square kilometres, the Okavango Santawani Concession is an excellent private safari area, a pristine wilderness where wildlife viewing tends to be at its peak during the Jun/Oct dry season.
Set on a prominent and rather pretty 'island' under stands of palm and hardwood trees, with views out over the surrounding Gomoti River floodplains, Rra Dinare is a reasonably high quality tented camp.
The main building is a very pleasant open-sided structure under thatch, leading out a camp-fire area, with a swimming pool area to one side.
Guest accommodation is in eight tented suites, on raised platforms, two of which are two bedroom family suites.
Activities include vehicle safari, walking safari and night vehicle safari.
The main potential downsides at Rra Dinare are the high prices, the relatively limited range of safari activities and the potential for weaker wildlife viewing, especially during Nov/Apr green season.
