Sanbona Tilney Manor
is located in Sanbona and Barrydale in the Overberg area of the Western Cape in South Africa.

Sanbona is a huge 540 square kilometre private wildlife reserve which contains decent populations of elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, lions and cheetahs.

This particular facility is to the south of the reserve, at the entrance to the pass which leads further north. It comprises six sumptuous suite rooms, with public areas in the old manor house.

Activities are centred around vehicle safari and walking safari, as well visits to some interesting rock-art sites.

Sanbona Tilney Manor represents the best and most authentic safari experience in the region. If your trip is mainly focussed on this region but you want to include a little bit of safari, then this is a genuine alternative to flying all the way off to Kruger.
