Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge
is located in the Lake Nakuru area of Southwest Kenya.

At 188 square kilometres, Lake Nakuru National Park is a relatively small fenced wildlife reserve, of which around a third is taken up by the lake itself. The area is most famous for its enormous populations of flamingos which nest along the shoreline. Depending on the season, there can be hundreds of thousands, possible even millions of these birds on view. The park is also renowned for its populations of rare black rhinos, white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. Predators including lions, leopards and cheetahs are also present and seen with reasonable regularity.

Situated in the northeast sector of Lake Nakuru National Park on a forested hillside, this very large and commercial lodge has extensive public areas, a large swimming pool and guest accommodation in a total of 67 chalet style rooms.

Activities are largely focused on vehicle safari around the park.

The main potential downsides are largely down to the deficiencies of the area, the diminutive Lake Nakuru now being completely surrounded by heavy human populations and the park suffering from high volume and largely low quality safari traffic, much it which emanates from this lodge. The rather old and dated design of the lodge is another significant detraction.
