Savute Safari Lodge
previously known as Lloyd's Camp, is located in the Savuti area of Chobe National Park in northern Botswana.

It is a comfortable permanent lodge situated in the core of this famous wildlife area. The game-viewing here can be very strong during the Jun/Oct dry season, with a special reputation for elephants, lions, leopards and wild-dogs. The lodge also has a very active waterhole which often provides some extraordinary elephant viewing.

The main potential downsides at Savute Safari Lodge are the high price and heavy build of the camp, the very limited range of activities and the fact that you are likely to encounter considerable vehicle traffic whilst out on safari, which definitely reduces the sense of wilderness.
