is located in the town of Swakopmund
in the Western
region of Namibia
Set in a quiet street just to the south of the historic centre of the town, this is a very personable little guesthouse, refreshingly modern in design, especially after one has traipsed around so much pastel and flora Victoriana.
There are 11 rooms set around a small garden featuring large palm trees. There is a small dining room and small television lounge. The owner lives right across the road.
Secret Garden is perhaps one of the most attractive of the lower cost options in the town, enhanced by the cosy and authentic nature of the street in which it sits and the easy stroll from here into centre.
However we have found ourselves recommending it increasingly rarely for reasons that should probably not be laundered in public.
