Singita Lebombo Lodge
is located in the Kruger Central
area of Kruger National Park
in the Northeast
region of South Africa
Set on the 133 square kilometre private Singita Concession in the eastern part of reserve, Singita Lebombo is the larger of two adjacent camps. It has elegant lounge and dining areas fronted by a lovely pool. Guest accommodation is in fifteen sumptuous air-conditioned suites. A common area is shared with nearby Singita Sweni
and contains a boutique, TV lounge and extensive spa facilities. It is widely recognised as being one of the finest and most luxurious safari camps in Africa, beautifully presented and exquisitely delivered.
Activities are centred on vehicle safari, with occasional options for walking safari and mountain-bike safari. The landscape here is unusually dry and rocky for the Kruger and has a genuinely remote feel. The wildlife is not so prolific, but the guides are expert in working it well.
The main potential downsides are the extremely high prices, the relatively large number of rooms, the potential for lower levels of animal sightings than in other prime Kruger areas and the potential for adverse weather conditions Nov/Mar. Also, as with almost all the lodges in this area, different groups of guests are joined together on safari activities, unless you pre-book a private vehicle at significant additional cost.SeasonsPricesTrips
