Stanley's Kopje Camp
previously known as Foxes Safari Camp, is located in the Mikumi area in the southern region of Tanzania.

It is a decent quality permanent lodge in a good location inside Mikumi National Park, an area of very pretty landscapes and significant wildlife populations. It is a comfortable camp in a prominent hilltop position, with eight guest tents. Activities include vehicle safari and walking safari, as well as being a reasonable base from which to visit Udzungwa. It is also relatively low cost.

The main potential downsides at Stanley's Kopje Camp are that this is not a prime wilderness area and the lodge lies only 4km off the main road through the middle of the reserve. Overland safaris in this region are rather tough and peripheral for most people and the area is not generally worth including in a flying safari. It is also worth avoiding the weekend crowds which travel down from Dar es Salaam.
