Dating back to the early pioneer days of 1680, Stellenbosch is the second oldest settlement in the country after Cape Town
. Now considered to be the capital of the Winelands, it remains a very attractive town of shady oak lined streets and fabulous period Cape Dutch, Regency and Victorian buildings.
