Taita Falcon Lodge
is located in the Livingstone
area of southern Zambia
Spectacularly perched high on a cliff face on the north side of the Zambezi Canyon around 10km downstream from the Victoria Falls, this is small lodge offers a personable welcome in a very peaceful situation.
Open-sided public areas are right on the edge of the precipice, whilst the small pool and guest rooms are tucked away in light woodland behind. The whole is simple but relatively stylish and has a refreshingly uncommercial feel.
Activities around the lodge include visits to local villages.
Activities around the falls include a picnic on Livingstone Island including a swim in the Devil's Pool on the lip of the cascade, white-water rafting and jet-boating in the canyon below, bungee jumping and gorge swinging, motorboat trips on the river upstream, elephant riding, walking with lions, town tours including the railway museum and scenic flights in a light aircraft, helicopter or microlight.SeasonsPricesTrips
