Water-skiing
is an activity which is only available in a relatively small number of locations in Africa, partly because of a lack of speedboats, but mainly because it is not generally considered to be very sympathetic to the environment.

In many areas motorised water-sports such as this and jet-skiing are outlawed for conservation reasons.

The only place that we can think of which actively promotes waterskiing is Danforth Lodge in the Cape Maclear area of Malawi.

It has also intermittently been available at Fundu Lagoon on the island of Pemba in Tanzania.

There must be other locations, so if this is important to you then please do ask us whilst we are putting your trip together.
