The Dolphin Trail
is located in Storms River in the Garden Route area of the Western Cape in South Africa.

First crossing the Storms River by suspension bridge, this 3 night trail heads along the coast through the national park and two adjacent private reserves. Unlike the Otter Trail, which heads in the other direction, takes 5 nights and is much tougher, this trail travels more gently between pleasant overnight mini-lodges, is fully catered and has luggage portered between the night stops.

The Dolphin Trail is a nice way to experience this coastline, although one does wonder whether multiple day hikes from a centrally located lodge might ultimately be more interesting.
