The Royal Livingstone Hotel
is located in the Livingstone area of southern Zambia.

In an impressive riverside position just 800 metres upstream from the Victoria Falls, this enormous colonial-styled hotel is surprisingly impressive and very reliable. An extremely wide range of activities includes visits to the falls themselves, motorboat safaris, white-water rafting and cultural visits, some of which are included in the room rate.

The main potential downsides are the high prices, the fact that this is not a true safari area, the enormous size of the hotel, the disappointingly drab rooms, the likelihood of incurring extra charges, the chances of rain Nov/Apr and extremely high temperatures in Oct/Nov.
