is located in the Livingstone
area of southern Zambia
Situated on the north bank of the Zambezi river around 15km upstream from the Victoria Falls and inside the small Mosi-o-Tunya National Park, this mid-range lodge has pleasant public areas include a bar, dining area and pool, whilst the dozen or so rooms are arranged along the waterfront downstream.
The place is best known as the base for elephant-back safaris. Other activities around the lodge include motorboat safari and canoe safari, as well as fishing, rhino tracking and visits to local villages.
Activities around the falls include a picnic on Livingstone Island including a swim in the Devil's Pool on the lip of the cascade, white-water rafting and jet-boating in the canyon below, bungee jumping and gorge swinging, walking with lions, town tours including the railway museum and scenic flights in a light aircraft, helicopter or microlight.
The lodge has recently been taken over by the excellent African Bush Camps, who also own some very cool safari camps in Zimbabwe and Botswana.SeasonsPricesTrips
