Travel documents

Once you have completed your final payment for the trip, we will email you a final version of your itinerary which you will need to print and take with you on your trip. This simple document is all that you will need. Chances are you will not even need to show that to anyone, since almost all the transport providers and lodges will be expecting you.

All of these suppliers in Africa are very familiar with our paperwork, so you simply need to show up, give your name and possibly the booking reference. It really is as easy as that. That said, a very few of the larger transport suppliers still require booking vouchers, which we also send along for you to print out.

As you might expect of a safari company, we have strong environmental principles, we run a virtually paperless office. We will not send anything out to you by post, so no hard copies of itineraries, booklets, faux leather wallets or baggage tags. The only hard copy generated during your whole bookings process should be the final travel documentation that you print before you go.

Another good reason for not decorating your baggage with our brand is that it potentially exposes you to tricksters at the airports, something which has been a serious problem over the years, as described in the section on scams.
