Tswalu Tarkuni
is located in Kuruman and Tswalu in the Northwest of South Africa.

Tswalu Game Reserve extends over an enormous 1000 square kilometres of Kalahari sandveld, a wonderful private wilderness which contains an excellent range of wildlife, notably including the classic black-mane lions, cheetahs, wild-dogs, caracals and aardvarks. The area is shared by just two small lodges.

This particular lodge is available for private groups of up to 10 guests. It is similar in style to the neighbouring Tswalu Motse, with 5 gorgeous guest rooms and stylish central areas with pool.

Activities include vehicle safari, walking safari and horse-back safari.

Tswalu Tarkuni is a truly high-class operation which delivers an elegant and very special and very private wilderness experience. Almost certainly the best non-malarial safari experience on the continent. The lodge also welcomes children of all ages, which makes it a fantastic choice for a truly upmarket family safari.

Access is usually by light aircraft from either Cape Town or Johannesburg.
