is located in the town of Cradock
in the Eastern Cape
region of South Africa
+ a whole street of authentic Karoo cottages
+ each house is uniquely themed
Situated within the town of Cradock this unusual lodge consists of thirty restored 1850's settlers' cottages on market street. Beautifully preserved and each with its own individual character, the houses have 1 or 2 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and kitchen. For those not self-catering, meals are served in the adjacent Victoria Manor
Activities in the area include gentle safari in the nearby Mountain Zebra National Park, exploring the historic town and its museum, hiking trails and farm visits.
Tuishuise is a really remarkable conservation project and a very good option for guests looking for quirky and authentic accommodation in this historic little town.
