Twyfelfontein
is located in the Namibia West region of Namibia in southwest Africa.

The main upsides for this Twyfelfontein are the fascinating geology and truly superb Bushman rock-art sites. It is a very strong location for tracking desert elephants and a wide range of other wildlife in the Huab River Valley. There is also a very good centre for Damara culture. Additional activities include some superb mountain hiking and decent ballooning. The area is convenient to access and contains some excellent accommodation options.

The main downsides at Twyfelfontein are that this is not a pristine wilderness area, that it can get a little bit busy around here during high season and the fact that the elephants often migrate away during the Jan/May green season.
