The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront
is the main historic harbour area of Cape Town in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Over recent decades this area has been transformed from a run down industrial zone to an attractive area full of hotels, restaurants, bars and shops, all centred around a marina which often features an array of impressive ocean going yachts. Highly commercial maybe, but interesting and attractive nonetheless.

Most people tend to stay elsewhere in town and drop into this area on a day trip, often in combination with a visit to Robben Island, the boat for which departs from the main wharf.
