Wayo Manyara Camp
is located in the Lake Manyara area of Northern Tanzania.

Set at the foot of the escarpment, at the point where the Endabash River emerges, this little camp is in the deep south of the national park and comprises a simple tented mess, with outside dining and a lovely campfire in the riverbed, with elephants often coming into view as they come in to drink. Guest accommodation is in just five modest tents with separate bathrooms. An unusually broad range of activities include vehicle safari, walking safari, canoe safari, mountain-biking, canopy tours and village visits.

The main potential downsides are that the camp may be a little too simple for some, it is only suitable for more outdoorsy guests. Furthermore, although Wayo Manyara Camp is in a lovely peaceful enclave, the northern parts of the national park can get rather busy and the sense of wilderness is severely impaired by the presence of the main road and the considerable settlement of Mto wa Mbu.
